Dr Nwokoji Foundation is a Non-profit organization registered in the United States of America and Nigeria. The foundation was created to help in alleviating poverty through job employment. The foundation is focused on empowering the less privileged, providing scholarships, building health centres, assisting in the process of social integration and personal realization of underprivileged children, young people, adults, families and communities
About Our Founder: Matthew Nwokoji
Dr. Matthew Nwokoji is a Nigerian-born educator, criminal justice expert, and philanthropist. He began his academic journey in Imo State, Nigeria, before earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). After working with the Nigeria Police Force, he relocated to the U.S., where he earned advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Criminal Justice from Middle Tennessee State University and a Doctorate in Human Services from Walden University.
Dr. Nwokoji has taught criminal justice at various universities and held leadership positions, including Campus Dean at Lane College in Tennessee. With experience in criminal justice agencies, he has also worked in corrections and juvenile justice, contributing significantly to the field.
Beyond academics, Dr. Nwokoji founded the Dr. Nwokoji Foundation, which is dedicated to education, justice, and community development. His global outreach and dedication to empowering underserved communities have left a lasting legacy of positive change and inspiration for future generations.

- Job Creation and Economic Opportunities Offering job opportunities and skill-building programs for economic independence.

- Building Health Centers Establishing accessible health facilities to meet community medical needs.
- Substance Abuse Awareness Promoting awareness and education to prevent substance abuse, especially among youth.
