Our Initiatives & Programs

On May 29th, 2024, the Dr. Nwokoji Foundation hosted a Menstrual Hygiene Day Awareness Campaign to support 500 girls and women in schools across Imo State and Kafanchan, Kaduna State. This campaign focused on educating participants about menstrual hygiene, aiming to reduce stigma and promote healthy practices. The foundation coordinated with local stakeholders and recruited volunteers to facilitate the event. Resource allocation and distribution ensured each participant received essential hygiene supplies. Through this initiative, the foundation sought to empower girls and women with knowledge and resources, fostering dignity and confidence in their communities.

On May 27th, 2024, the Dr. Nwokoji Foundation celebrated Children’s Day by engaging with 200 school children across Imo, Kaduna, and Lagos states. This celebration involved coordination with stakeholders and consultations with schools to organize activities that made the day memorable for the children. The foundation distributed special packages to each child, emphasizing its commitment to nurturing and supporting the well-being of young people in these communities. Through this initiative, the foundation aimed to bring joy and encouragement to children, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

In December 2023, the Dr. Nwokoji Foundation organized a Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign targeting 1,000 students across the Ahiara and Ahiazu communities in Owerri, Imo State. This impactful campaign involved consultation with local stakeholders and school authorities to facilitate program delivery within the schools. Volunteers were recruited to help execute the campaign, which provided students with essential health education and raised awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. Through this initiative, the foundation aimed to empower young individuals to make informed choices and promote a drug-free community.

In October 2023, the Dr. Nwokoji Foundation conducted a Medical Outreach program targeting 20 women in the Okigwe community, Imo State. This initiative involved coordination with local stakeholders and recruitment of volunteers to provide essential healthcare services to women in need. The program offered medical consultations, blood pressure checkups, and health education sessions to raise awareness about preventive healthcare. Through this outreach, the foundation aimed to promote well-being and empower the women of Okigwe with knowledge about their health.

 In October 2023, the Dr. Nwokoji Foundation launched its October Food Drive at the Rafiki Children’s Home in Ungwan Rimi, Kafanchan, Kaduna State. This initiative aimed to provide essential food supplies to 120 children and less privileged individuals in the area. The program involved careful coordination with local stakeholders to ensure that resources were effectively allocated and distributed. Volunteers were recruited to assist with logistics and engage with the beneficiaries, creating a supportive environment for the children. The foundation also conducted data collection and analysis throughout the drive to assess impact and improve future outreach efforts.
